Santhosh Echikkanam (Malayalam: സന്തോഷ് ഏച്ചിക്കാനം) is a South Indian, contemperory short story writer from Kerala. He is one of the newcomers in Malayalam literature. He was born in Kasargode district in Kerala. Starting his college life as a politician, Santosh never stood first in the college story-writing competitions. But he stick on to his passion and later turned to be a good writer mostly in short stories. His stories are grounded to earth and speaks about the common people around us.

Santhosh is a recipient of Kerala Sahithya Academy award for short story.[1][2]
